A student who brought down a Pakistani banner captured apologizes for the Incident, Zabihullah Mujahid

KABUL: Deputy Information Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid, while announcing the arrest of a student who took down the Pakistani flag from a truck carrying relief goods, said that he was saddened by the incident and apologized to the Islamic Brotherhood.


According to the International News Agency, the Taliban's Deputy Information Minister Zabihullah Mujahid has apologized for hurting the feelings of the Pakistani people over the incident of taking off the Pakistani flag from a relief truck and said that the entire cabinet of the Islamic Emirate is saddened over the incident.

Deputy Information Minister Zabihullah Mujahid also said that the student who took down the Pakistani flag from the aid truck had been arrested unarmed and would be punished by a Taliban court.

Two days ago, Pakistan handed over 17 containers of humanitarian aid to Taliban leader Maulvi Mubarez Afghani and a ceremony was held on the occasion. After which, in a video that went viral on social networking sites, an armed student was seen unloading the Pakistani flag from a rescue truck and several citizens, including the student, were seen intending to tear or burn the flag.
